The clinic emphasises the importance of a 'hands on' treatment approach as we believe this gives the best results for most conditions. This is usually supplemented by a home exercise programme, postural and work place advice. For sports related injuries this is likely to include assessment and advice on technique and training schedules. In addition home treatments such as the use of heat and ice are often recommended.
Prevention and advice is an integral part of treatment. We will look at the cause of your injury and advise on means of stopping re-occurrence by the use of stretching, strengthening exercises, ergonomic assessment, postural advice and lifestyle changes.
We can provide Occupational Health and work place assessments to ensure you are working in your optimum position/posture. This will aid recovery and help prevent reoccurrence.
We have contracts with South Yorkshire emergency services and industry, plus close links with local sports clubs.
Other therapies at the clinic may be beneficial to supplement your physio, or to help complete your recovery.
